If you want to start in an industrial field with a secure future, then a cooperative study programme with us might be the right choice for you. We offer you a course of study that will allow you to develop personally and professionally and prepare you for your future career. In addition to receiving a technical education, you are part of our community. This means that you will be involved in the planning and execution of interdisciplinary projects and participate in lunch breaks and team events.
Here is how your cooperative study programme will go: Every three months, you will switch back and forth between theoretical and practical phases. During the theoretical phases, you will receive a technical foundation at the DHBW Stuttgart campus that you will then deepen and consolidate with us in Nürtingen. The programme has a total of six semesters. In the first four semesters, the content and subjects are the same for all programmes. In the last year, your area of study will correspond with the specialisation of your choice. What can you expect from the Business Administration – Industrial Management cooperative study programme?
During your studies, you’ll receive insights into the processes, tasks and procedures in various administrative departments. These include Purchasing, Sales, Controlling, Marketing and HR.
What can you do once you’ve earned your bachelor’s degree?
Once you have earned your bachelor’s degree, you can decide if you want to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration or an advanced degree in another area of specialisation. If you’d like to start your career right away, you can take a junior position in one of the departments that you got to know during your studies.
Is Business Administration – Industrial Management the right study programme for me?
You are communicative, friendly and enjoy working in a team. You approach problems in an analytical and structural way thanks to your keen perception. After your initial training, you look forward to carrying out your work independently and autonomously.
What can you expect from the Business Information Systems cooperative study programme?
During your studies, you will learn how to develop, integrate and operate IT systems within a company. The majority of your time will be spent in one of our IT departments that oversees our business operations and operating systems. In addition to technical content about IT technologies, you will also learn about economic contexts and business processes.
What can you do once you’ve earned your bachelor’s degree?
Once you have earned your bachelor’s degree, you can decide if you want to pursue a master’s degree in Business Information Systems or an advanced degree in Business or Computer Science. If you’d like to start your career right away, you have opportunities in IT management, software management or project management.
Is Business Information Systems the right study programme for me?
In addition to a precise approach to your work, you have excellent communication skills and are not afraid to talk with colleagues or business partners. You are persistent when it comes to tackling problems and concentrate fully on finding the right solution.
What can you expect from the Computer Science cooperative study programme?
During your studies, you will learn how to develop IT systems and applications and how they are integrated, applied and monitored within an IT infrastructure. Plus, you will learn how to manage IT projects. In the IT Security specialisation, you will focus on the topic of network security in businesses.

Once you have earned your bachelor’s degree, you can decide if you want to pursue a master’s degree. If you’d like to start your career right away, you have a wide array of opportunities in the field of IT, such as in IT project management, software development or IT consulting.

You are extremely interested in technology and enjoy identifying the sources of errors and solving the problem. In addition to keen perception, you also work precisely and independently.
What can you expect from the Embedded Systems – General Engineering cooperative study programme?
During your studies, you will learn how individual hardware and software components are embedded into a functioning technical product. At the same time, you will gain insight into a wide variety of fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, (micro)mechanics and security technology within a company. The majority of your studies will be spent in our Development department.

What can you expect from the Electrical Engineering - Electronics cooperative study programme?
During your studies, you will learn the basic knowledge for the independent development, commissioning and monitoring of electronic devices. In hardware development, you will gain insights into system models of assemblies and circuit technology, and you will be allowed to carry out measurements, soldering work and repairs yourself during practical work.
What can you do once you’ve earned your bachelor’s degree?
As an electrical engineer, you can work not only in hardware development, but also in the areas of product development and product management, sales or quality management. Of course, you also have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in a Master's programme.
