What does the Cyber Resilience Act achieve?

The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is raising the security requirements for networked machines and systems. ADS-TEC Industrial IT addresses this by designing the firewall as a protected system boundary and ensuring that security-critical functions are kept up to date at all times.

Firmware and configuration updates are supported, and logging functions such as audit logs, event logs and syslogs provide transparency regarding access, configuration changes and detected network anomalies. In this way, the firewall helps to secure communication with the machine and effectively maintain the protected system boundary throughout the entire lifecycle.
