The IRF1000 industrial router firewall from ADS-TEC lets you explore new terrain, i.e. the world of remote access and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). You benefit from the maximum security of a firewall and the superb router function for the virtual connectivity of your machines and systems. Includes the smartcard-based security concept, the implementation of IIoT standards such as OPC UA and MQTT, and the mobile network option with up to 5G capability for wireless internet access. With its slender plastic housing, the router takes up very little space in the control cabinet. Another advantage: the IRF1000 is easy to install on a top hat rail or optionally via a VESA adapter.

Master the transformation to the smart factory with the right equipment. In the Industrial Internet of Things, machines and systems are interconnected with the virtual world. The integration of commonly used IoT protocols such as OPC UA, ModbusRTU, ModbusTCP and our Big-LinX® platform designed specifically for IIoT enables data to be reliably collected and transmitted. Via data push, your infrastructure is future-proofed for providing predictive maintenance, machine learning and other big-data applications as well as connecting to any third-party cloud via MQTT. A unique feature in this class is the flexibility that the implementation of Docker technology gives you, enabling you to fully independently develop your own applications on the platform.
Plug and play
Although we take security very seriously, configuring the firewall was never so simple. The entire contents can be stored on an optionally available storage card that the firewall automatically reads at every start. The device can also be replaced quickly and cost-effectively – without needing a specialist.
Individual design
We offer the option of customising our industrial router firewall with your own individual touch. Produce the housing of the firewall in any accent colour or in your corporate colour. You can also customise the front foil with your logo. This gives you a personalised product that fits perfectly into your business environment.
