LOUNGES 2020: ADS-TEC presents the MMT/MMD8000 series and the new MMD9016 display for highest hygiene requirements

From 28 to 30 January, ADS-TEC will be presenting its hygiene IPC solutions to trade visitors for the second time at LOUNGES 2020 (formerly part of the "Hygienic Design Expo" trade fair). LOUNGES in Karlsruhe is a cross-industry platform for clean, hygienic or sterile environmental conditions in manufacturing processes and other contamination-relevant areas.

Robust technology with award-winning design
ADS-TEC terminals from the MMT8000 series form an efficient and reliable basis for the control and visualisation of production processes and plant monitoring. The terminals are available with 17.3” or 23.8” Full HD displays and feature state-of-the-art multi-touch technology for simple and intuitive operation. The capacitive multi-touch display offers comfortable operation even with several fingers and when wearing gloves. The anti-reflective and chemically hardened screen allows clear visibility even in intense light. The devices are also optionally available with splinter protection. The innovative and patented sandwich housing technology enables passive cooling and thus facilitates the high performance of the i5 processor. The award-winning design rounds off the functionality of the MMT8000 series and offers decisive application advantages.
 
Optimised tube adapter makes MMT/MMD8000 series the optimal solution for white applications
The terminals and displays in the MMT/MMD8000 series meet the high hygiene requirements of white areas in production plants without compromise through an optimised tube adapter. The mounting option means that the devices are fully IP69K classified and optimally protected against dust and water jets.
 
Optimum hygiene display solutions
With its purely digital monitor solutions, ADS-TEC also offers connection to existing industrial PCs. The MMD8000 series displays feature the same design and housing as the complete solution. High transmission rates of display signals offer maximum flexibility for connecting an existing control cabinet PC or master computer.

The new MMD9016 was designed as a compact alternative to the MMD8000 series, which has been established for years. Reduced to its core functions, the slim 15.6” monitor solution also has the same stainless steel housing as the MMT/MMD8000 series, which is key for hygiene applications. Due to the modular design of the MMD9016, different holders can be mounted on the reverse side. A tube adapter, direct mounting and a VESA mount are available for this purpose. A DisplayPort and HDMI are optionally available as connections. With an IP69K rating, the ingress of dust and water jets is prevented, allowing the device to be cleaned without compromise.
