2011 the SPS/IPC/Drives bet again the latest visitor record with its 1.429 exhibitors and 56.321 visitors. ADS-TEC is long-term representative at the leading trade fair of automation
technology. From the 22th to the 24th of November 2011 the developer and fabricator of Industrial PCs ADS-TEC presented in Nuremberg many highlights for a smarter and more efficient automation. The visitors had the possibility to bring themselves up to date about the latest in the rugged world of IT® – rugged terminals and panel PCs, mobile tablet solutions and industrial-suited WLAN components as well as about the brand new cloud-based remote service portal Big-LinX – at booth 120, hall 7.
The also increasing SPS/IPC/Drives Congress took place at the same time. With 349 speakers, the number of participants rose by 47 speakers compared to the previous year, including ADS-TEC expert Mr. Heinrich Merz. Within his lecture "Industrial-suited WLAN 802.11n – the basis of new solutions in automation" he presented the area of ads-tec's IT Infrastructure as well as the latest generation of wireless LAN components for industrial applications.
